It is located on our family's nearly 200 year old Homestead and situated beside our 100 year old farmhouse. Welcome to The Overhang. A creek side, glamping cabin in the beautiful Hocking Hills! The Overhang has everything you need for a relaxing getaway for two. Enjoy the spacious areas of the deck that include an infrared sauna, Adirondack chairs and an outdoor fire table, a BBQ grill, and outdoor dining. Welcome to The Boondock, Hocking Hills! This tiny glamping cabin is located at Narrows Landing Campground on the banks of Saltcreek. Please read full description before booking. This cabin sleeps 4 with one queen bed on the main level, one queen in the loft area. It is ideal for 2 adults and 2 children. Enjoy access to Saltcreek to fish, wade, or kayak. The Boondock is less than 8 miles from The Hocking Hills State Park/Visitor Center.

The space:
The Boondock is a Glamping Cabin. There is a half bath, NO SHOWER in the cabin. The toilet is a composting toilet. There is no typical running water in the cabin. But there is running water for drinking, brushing your teeth, washing hands, etc, via a pump system from bottled water jugs that is hooked to a faucet in the bathroom.

The Boondock is on our small family owned campgrounds. There are 2 RV/Tent sites and one other glamping cabin on the property as well. Access and use of the creek and the front yard are shared with all camp guests. There is no shower on the campgrounds.

Please note that the loft area does not have railings, as it would make it more difficult to access. Therefore, it is not practical for very young children/toddlers.

We allow one pet under 50 pounds. We do not charge a pet fee, but any bedding that is soiled from mud, dirt or bodily fluids or damage caused by pets will be charged an additional cleaning/damage fee.
