If you've ever stayed in a cabin where you are surrounded by other cabins, the A-Frame at McArthur Ridge is the opposite of that. The A-Frame offers a secluded space to unwind and recharge as it shares 26 acres with just one other cabin (the log cabin at the lower end of the property). While the winter months in Ohio lend a touch of cozy magic to the scene, just a heads up...During this time, the A-Frame might catch a few glances from the neighboring home towards the back of the property. But worry not! The front of the cabin will continue to provide you with privacy. We do not offer any hiking trails on the property. Hike at your own risk. Our booking minimum age requirement is 25 years old. Pet Policy: Two pets maximum. For insurance reasons, there are certain dog breeds which we can not allow at the property. 2. Log Cabin at McArthur Ridge Cabins
$185 per night avg
Renovated in 2024, this space showcases a cozy first-floor layout with a living room, kitchen, and bathroom (shower). Upstairs, there are two queen beds, separated by a partial wall providing each with a semi-private sleeping area. There is a 4-person hot tub on the deck, and an EV charger (fee for use, pay via the app) right next to the driveway. Enjoy the blend of modern comfort and rustic charm! Login to your own accounts for streaming services and watch your favorite movies and tv shows as much as you'd like with Starlink internet service at the cabin! If you've ever stayed in a cabin where you are surrounded by other cabins, our Hand-Hewn Log Cabin is the opposite of that. The Log Cabin offers a secluded space to unwind and recharge as it shares 26 acres with just one other cabin (the A-frame cabin at the ridge of the property). Hot Tub: Our hot tub is drained, cleaned, and re-filled (with hot tub chemicals added) as part of our professional cleaning for each stay. As a result, the hot tub will need until late evening the first night of your stay to reach full temperature. Heads up, our neighbor has an ingress/egress easement across our property to get to theirs, so you may occasionally see a vehicle driving across the gravel road in front of the Log Cabin. We do not offer any hiking trails on the property. Hike at your own risk. Please be aware that there is a pond on the property. No hunting, fishing, swimming, boating, ice skating, or fireworks on the property. Our booking minimum age requirement is 25 years old. The booking party must be physically present throughout the duration of the stay. The cabin is not baby-proofed. Pet Policy: Two pets maximum. We loved the authentic hand-hewn construction and back private deck.
We had a wonderful experience. The cabin is meticulously kept and well equipped. We spent some mornings on the front porch swing and some evenings in the well maintained hot tub on the private back deck. Our only suggestion would be to put a couple of those Adirondack chairs on the back deck to chill with some coffee while looking into the...

The A-frame was magical - clean, well made, beautiful - I got extra cool mom points for this pick!
The A-frame was very clean. Appreciated the extra touches of the linens, towels, campfire sticks, etc. The host made it very easy to stay there, even with a last minute trip like ours. My husband appreciated the workmanship and quality of the design and the fire pit area. My kids enjoyed the accommodations including the fire, yard and living...

Perfect tiny A-Frame in the woods.
Cute little house with everything needed for a comfortable stay. We used the kitchen for breakfast and a dinner with the BBQ grill on the deck. Weather did not cooperate for us to explore the area as we wanted but we would definitely book this place for future stays. We have a student at OU about half an hour away.
