Great rustic style cabin and accommodations!
Paul Beth, Jeff Lindsay, SE Michigan

The cabin was clean and prepared for our arrival, with clear instructions for access and utilization of the amenities. The secluded site provides great privacy and a feeling of being off the grid - therefore the spotty cell service was no issue for us - and town is ten minutes away if you really need to use your cell phone. The house phone was more than adequate for placing carry out orders, etc. It is close to many hiking and scenic areas, with the state parks near-by! If your expectations are to experience a rustic cabin with modern amenities, this is your type of cabin! Hot tub works good and is maintained well, Firepit is located nicely on the property and furnished with chairs etc. Grills are available. Covered front porch provides outdoor seating area even if a rain cloud rumbles through. The A/C unit is effective and cools the cabin quickly after arrival. The shower is a little temperamental with the in-line water heater, but does the job. Kitchen has everything you need to cook/prepare for 4-6 guests. Keep in mind that the light switches often control outlets, which lamps are plugged into, so if you turn off the lamp, the light switches is not active. The host follows through on their end of the rental agreement and communication is great. We wouldn't hesitate to rent this cabin again, and recommend it to friends who are considering a trip to go ziplining. Regards from SE Michigan!

Our family really enjoyed this cabin! It was very cute, clean and accommodating. With COVID happening all the caves where shit down but we found a cute beach 5 min down the road that we enjoyed all day! The hot tub was amazing! This was my first trip to hocking hills that we actually had a hot tub that worked! We will definitely becoming back

A Fabulous Weekend for Four!
Bethany, Tallmadge
Review Posted: Oct 28    Date of Visit: October
My husband, brother, sister-in-law and I spent a late October weekend Friday and Saturday nights at Cook's Creek Cabin and had a wonderful time! Although it rained most of the weekend and we didn't get out to hike much, we loved sitting by a warm fireplace, making food, and playing games - the cabin was the perfect setting for it. It was a little awkward that the only bathroom was through one of the bedrooms, but since we're all so close, it didn't matter much to us. The floors were also pretty creaky, especially for the two sleeping up in the loft, but it led to lots of laughs from all of us. The beds were reasonably comfortable with room for all four adults. The charcoal grill was VERY nice, and the hot tub was wonderful, even in the rain. We did make an outdoor bonfire Saturday night, and the pit and chairs were a great, cozy set-up. Overall, we loved how secluded and wooded the area was, and we still felt super safe the entire time. The internet was spotty we weren't there for it anyways!, and we could have used a cutting board and a few mixing/cooking sized bowls in the kitchen pack them!, but otherwise, we loved every bit of our stay. Thanks for a fun weekend away without the kiddos!
