The Cocoon was a piece of Heaven on Earth.
Staying at The Cocoon was hands down the best experience my husband and I have ever had. It truly felt like we were in our own little world. Megan was an incredible host—she thought of absolutely everything. It was also the cleanest place we've ever stayed. We're already making plans to book the other dome in the near future!

Awesome Experience!
The Cocoon was so adorable & well, equipped for a lovely weekend! We really enjoyed the surroundings, the fire pit, the grill & outdoor soaking tub! The bathroom is also super cute-I do wish I had brought some slides or flip flops for walking to the bathroom. We played albums on the turntable for hours as we prepared food, ate & soaked in the tub....

Cozy Forest Retreat
Rooted Domes was the perfect way to unplug without sacrificing comfort. It rained every day of my stay, and even "trapped" in the dome, we were satisfied. There are so many activities built in to keep you entertained. But it's also so cozy you'll find yourself letting your mind wander (or just indulging in a few naps.) What a wonderful anniverary...

Everything was so purposeful and thought out. Falling asleep to the stars above was barely short of magical. I loved the Polaroid camera and writing prompts guestbook.

THE Ultimate relaxing get away in Ohio.
Megan's sense of detail to every need you could want was done in the dome. Extremely clean, calming, with unique items to see, read, smell, touch and experience. Unlimited hot water was huge. Loved the outside bath!! I will return again to stay in the other dome. Nature, quiet and the best unplug get away ever.

The most relaxing and tranquil place I have ever visited in my life.
I have never felt more relaxed and willing to just let the outside world go. From watching the deer in the morning to the stars at night it was perfect. My most favorite part of all ... the soaking tub!

The Cocoon was exactly as advertised online just as beautiful in person. The host was awesome . I received quick responses to several questions I had prior to our visit. I appreciate her accommodating our dog, The amenities inside The Coocoon were fabulous. I didn't want to leave, in fact I teared up a little as we were pulling away.

Serene escape full of rest and relaxation
We had a wonderful, quiet relaxing couple of days in the cocoon. My daughter loved all the games and coloring and exploring she could do and I loved being able to sit still and read in such a beautiful, comfortable place. I was looking for a unique experience and this was it!

A comfortable place to rest from everyday life.
I loved how freeing the location was, it feels like you have a plot of land all for yourself (given we didn't have to share any spaces since the other dome wasn't booked during our dates!!) It was so nice to just be present and make homemade meals and put a record on and do “nothing”. Highly Recommend!!!

The Cocoon was so adorable & well, equipped for a lovely weekend! We really enjoyed the surroundings, the fire pit, the grill & outdoor soaking tub! The bathroom is also super cute-I do wish I had brought some slides or flip flops for walking to the bathroom. The only thing I might ask-a bit better table/chair set up to eat meals, but we made it work & not a big deal. The bed is also super comfy!
