Our wall of windows is the hero of this cabin and the thing we hope makes you say "Wow!" when you walk in. Treat yourself to luxury in cabin form with soaring ceilings, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, gas fireplace, outdoor firepit, great outdoor decks, hot tub, and nature trails. The cabin is designed with an open floor plan for enjoying time together whether it's inside around the fireplace enjoying the view of nature or outside on the large decks on upper and lower level feeling the breeze brush past. You'll love the spacious master suite on the upper level complete with ensuite bathroom with tile shower and direct access to the deck from the room. Downstairs there are two queen bedrooms with sliding door walkout to the lower-level deck. Full bath shared downstairs with double vanity. A common area downstairs is perfect for games or a movie! The hot tub is located on the lower deck for a soak after your day of hiking. We also have nature trails throughout the 5-acre property that you are welcome to walk throughout your stay. Please be mindful of guests that may be staying at the one-bedroom cabin nearby, you do have neighbors.
Guest access
You'll have full access to the cabin, your own fire pit area and access to trails on the property.
Other things to note
Fern Woods and Fern Haven can be booked together if you'd like to have a larger group. Otherwise, please note that there is another cabin nearby that may have other guests. You may also run into other guests on the trails if you choose to hike on the property.

Vinton County requires a 6% lodging tax be paid for your stay.

Holiday weekends require a 3 night stay.

Fern Woods for the past 2 years has become one of the best cabins in the Hocking Hills area. Before Carleen and I started hosting this wonderful cabin in June of 2022, the ratings neared 5 stars with almost 100 reviews and that's just on Airbnb.
