The cabin was amazing and surpassed our expectations!
The cabin fit our family of 10 very well. Everyone had their own space to sleep. The fire pit area outside was perfect, hot tub was fun. The best part of the cabin is the wrap around porch. We were able to enjoy the outdoors in the rain, snow and sunshine. The kids had a blast in the basement game room and loved the selection of DVDs.

Great place for a family getaway
The multiple levels of the home worked well for the various age groups in our party. The many bathrooms and bedrooms were convenient. The expansive deck provided another area for entertaining.

Cabin was beautiful and well equipped - in an area where we felt completely safe! Julie did such a great job keeping us informed about the power outage and when we could get into the cabin. Our original cabin - Rocky Hill Lodge never had power restored, so Julie was able to provide an alternate cabin - which we completely enjoyed!

A weekend to remember
There was a hudge spider that crawled in but I captured it under a bowl and put it outside. Other than that, there were plenty of beds and and space to hangout and relax, we got to roast marshmallows and there was a canoe place ten minutes away. Rocky hill lodge will definitely be recommended

Great location - near all the great Hocking Hills trails!
We loved the cabin look/feel and that it was near all the major hocking hills trails. The 5 bedrooms provided room for our multi-generational family to spread out and there was lots of comfy seating indoors and out. The fire pit had a lot of chairs too, so we could all enjoy the fire at one time. Everything worked well and the kitchen items were on the newer side. Great communication from the owner too. Can't think of a single problem we had. We needed some time away from the hustle and bustle.

Cozy Place to spend the Holidays
Our family decided to celebrate Christmas and New Years together at this lodge. It was a wonderful space to hang out, play video and board games together while also being close to some great hiking. The extra touch of a basic Christmas Tree and lights around the balcony made it feel festive while being simple. We also appreciated that it was a place that would allow us to have our pets as well.

I loved the cozy feel, different spaces to hangout, how each bedroom had a nice sized bed, loved the wrap around porch and quietness of the area. It was so helpful that you provided soap, dish sponge, starter paper towel roll, toilet paper for each bathroom, all the dinnerware bowls/plates/silverware, dish pods, crock pot and other countertop appliances. The hot tub and fire pit was also great additions for our weekend. Nothing bad to say about the cabin at all!

Exceptional!!
A group of 12 nursing students including myself took a trip out to this gem for three nights. Between the place being extremely clean and inviting and the kindness of the people who manage the property it couldn't have been more perfect. My friends and I had a blast all weekend. Annual Cabin Trip
We have a group of 11 who take an annual trip to Hocking Hills and the last two years we have stayed at Rocky Hill Lodge. It is easily the cleanest and most well stocked cabin we have stayed in the last six years. The cabin is always clean, has plenty of kitchenware so we don't have to bring anything, the water doesn't have the heavy sulfur smell which other cabins in the area do, and the hot tub and deck are large enough to accommodate our group. Annual Alumni Success!!!!
Wow! Not only did Rocky Hill Lodge provide us with all the ammenities we needed for the weekend but space and comfort as well. Each year my college friends get together for a camping trip. This was the first year we have not used tents (with 2 newborns and a 1 year old it didn't seem doable). Honestly, even when the kids are bigger I don't think we will go back to tents. We stayed at the Rocky Hill Lodge over spring break 2018 and had a great time. There was plenty of room including a play area with a pool table and arcade game for the kids to hang out downstairs while the adults were upstairs. Great Getaway!
We had an awesome time! It was great to get away for the weekend, and we were lucky to have such great weather.The cabin is beautiful and has so much to offer. The only thing I would have to mention is that when the upper level shower was being used, the kitchen ceiling started leaking. Sometimes the water pressure in the showers wasn't too strong either. Rented this lodge for my birthday weekend with 16 friends. What a lovely place to relax in the woods. We really enjoyed the large deck and fire pit. Great kitchen. Great Family Getaway
This home is lovely!! It is spacious and has everything you need for a fun family getaway. The game room kept everyone busy and the hot tub was amazing. There was plenty of parking and it was easy to find. The roads had been cleared prior to our arrival, but if it was really snowy, it would be hard to get to without 4 wheel drive. Take that seriously! Don't let that stop you from visiting, though. It was well worth it!

The Rocky Hill Lodge is a secluded and cozy cabin with some nice rustic touches and the owners supply everything and are very quick in responding to all questions. We did find the floor boards to be a little noisy at night when someone was walking overhead but nothing my fan couldnt drown out. Loved the seclusion and coziness of this cabin. Annual Cabin Trip
We have a group of 11 who take an annual trip to Hocking Hills and the last two years we have stayed at Rocky Hill Lodge. It is easily the cleanest and most well stocked cabin we have stayed in the last six years. The cabin is always clean, has plenty of kitchenware so we don't have to bring anything, the water doesn't have the heavy sulfur smell which other cabins in the area do, and the hot tub and deck are large enough to accommodate our group. We will continue to return to Rocky Hill Lodge each year.

Fantastic Cabin
Great place for a family get together. Lots of great features with fire ring and seating, large living space and great outdoor seating on wrap around deck. The downstairs has a pool table that will keep you busy after a long day of hiking.

Great Stay at Rocky Hill Lodge
This is the second time our large family has stayed at the Lodge. The layout, number of bedrooms and overall size works well for us. The property was super clean and stocked well with everything we needed! A few of our favorite things about this lodge are the big deck, the big living room area and the central location! Customer service was prompt and very responsive to my needs!

Great Family Getaway
This home is lovely!! It is spacious and has everything you need for a fun family getaway. The game room kept everyone busy and the hot tub was amazing. There was plenty of parking and it was easy to find. The roads had been cleared prior to our arrival, but if it was really snowy, it would be hard to get to without 4 wheel drive. Take that seriously! Don't let that stop you from visiting, though. It was well worth it!

Another wonderful stay!
This was my 3rd visit to Rocky Hill Lodge and it was just as perfect as the previous 2! This cabin is spacious, updated and immaculate! Everything you need is here to cook a wide variety of meals, plenty of towels, dishes, glasses and nice linens. There were no surprises and Julie is professional and timely on her correspondence about reservations and questions in general. The hot tub was clean and the firepit is large with plenty of nice chairs! I highly recommend this cabin and will be back next year - Enjoy!

Exceptional!!
A group of 12 nursing students including myself took a trip out to this gem for three nights. Between the place being extremely clean and inviting and the kindness of the people who manage the property it couldn't have been more perfect. My friends and I had a blast all weekend. We could see our neighbors house from the cabin through the trees but it felt as if we were miles apart, very private. I would definitely come back to Rocky Hill lodge! Thank you all who take such great care of the property.

Rocky Hill Lodge Review
Had a good time with my 7 grandkids but there were a few things that were not right. First the TV did not come on, we got an error code 775. We checked all cables and went through the process of unplugging anf plugging in all the wires but it still did not work. About a half hour later the TV came on by itself! Second, there were about 4 finish nails sticking out on the log post by the stairs to the basement, my granddaughter scratched her arm just walking by the log. I called about this and was told that there was a hammer down in the laundry room and to pound them in. I was able to pull out 3 of the nails and pounded one of them into the post. Third, there was a silver bowl placed under the sink in the bathroom on the main floor to catch a water leak and we had to empty this bowl about 6 times during our stay. I shut off the valve for the hot water and it slowed down the leak. Fourth, the grease pan below the gas grill was full of grease and caught fire the one time that we used the grill. Other than these things listed everything else was OK.

outstanding rental
The rental was clean and had amenities which made it nice for our family - a washer and dryer, hot tub, nice kitchen facilities and the five bedrooms spread out on all 3 floors made it private enough for our families with children to have some privacy. Also, it was only 10-15 minutes away from Old Man's Cave. We will rent again.

Great Lodge
We stayed at the Rocky Hill Lodge over spring break 2018 and had a great time. There was plenty of room including a play area with a pool table and arcade game for the kids to hang out downstairs while the adults were upstairs. Unfortunately the weather did not co-operate and were unable to use the large covered porch and fire pit outside. The Lodge is also very close to all the major hiking trails which made it very easy to go out in the morning for hike then come back for lunch and then go back out for another hike before dinner. We will be back!

Awesome week-end and Rocky Hill Lodge
I booked this lodge for a surprise family get-together for my husbands birthday and was not disappointed. The owners were very accommodating to my special requests so that I could keep the week-end a secret, which I very much appreciated. I always check the bathrooms first because I can't stand icky bathrooms. Nothing was icky! All updated and clean, as was the rest of the cabin. The covered deck outside was large so we could all sit out together in the evening it was almost 70 that day in February!. Kitchen is well-stocked and had everything I needed. It's easy to find. The owners were very responsive-as I was planning the week-end, they responded quickly to my questions. As I said, we were there in February so the view was as good as Ohio can get in February, but in the warmer months, I'm sure the view out the back would be amazing. The pool table, hot tub, corn hole game and arcade provided something for everyone to do. All in all, A for the Lodge. No complaints!

Great Cabin!
Rented this lodge for my birthday weekend with 16 friends. What a lovely place to relax in the woods. We really enjoyed the large deck and fire pit. Great kitchen. Comfortable common areas within the house. Plenty of games (pool table, corn hole, arcade game) to keep everyone entertained. All sofas and beds were comfortable. Close proximity to Old Man's Cave and other area attractions. Would most definitely stay here again! Thank you!

Great Getaway!
We had an awesome time! It was great to get away for the weekend, and we were lucky to have such great weather.The cabin is beautiful and has so much to offer. The only thing I would have to mention is that when the upper level shower was being used, the kitchen ceiling started leaking. Sometimes the water pressure in the showers wasn't too strong either. Other than than, there were no complaints! Thank you for allowing us to stay and we hope to again in the future!!

My 50th Birthday!
We enjoyed our stay at the beautiful home! We enjoyed sitting by the fire, the pool table and how open and airy this place is!(just a sidenote..The hot tub was not ready when we arrived due to having to be drained from the previous renters, and was not warm but we were happy it was clean!) The only thing this place needs is some recycling bins! Everything else was amazing!!

Sibling Weekend with Mom
Had a wonderful weekend with my 8 siblings and Mom. Was the perfect set up for large gatherings. Comfortable clean home with plenty of things to do and enjoy, firepit was a favorite! Accomodations are great with everything needed. 1 suggestion may be to get tie on cushions for bench and chairs in kitchen. We only noticed this because it was raining all weekend and we were playing games and puzzles etc. and seated for long periods of time. Home was great with tv's to watch OSU game, pool table, cards, movies, games, sit on deck and enjoy the beautiful surroundings! Rain was the only thing that kept us from doing everything we'd planned but no one has control of the weather!

A wonderful, gorgeous cabin for any getaway
My friends and I had a great time at Rocky Hill Lodge! The cabin was absolutely beautiful, very clean and perfect for our weekend getaway. It is about a 15-minute drive from "downtown" Logan. We initially went to the wrong cabin, but that was our mistake! At least one of the nearby addresses was out of order, but after calling Julie, she told us we were likely at the cabin next door and she was right. Hang in there -- you'll find it! Every architectural detail of the cabin's interior is perfect and in keeping with the wooded surrounding. The patio to the left of the Lodge is absolutely gorgeous. We had all of our meals out there. We enjoyed the hot tub, and the kitchen and gas grill made meal prep easy. Was great to have fans in all of the bedrooms. Everyone also said their beds were very comfortable. I will absolutely keep Rocky Hill Lodge in mind for future trips and spread the word to others! Kate Hanna

Annual Alumni Success!!!!
Wow! Not only did Rocky Hill Lodge provide us with all the ammenities we needed for the weekend but space and comfort as well. Each year my college friends get together for a camping trip. This was the first year we have not used tents (with 2 newborns and a 1 year old it didn't seem doable). Honestly, even when the kids are bigger I don't think we will go back to tents. With 3 of us being pregnant I know we will get to come back next year for sure. I just wish I could give this place 10 stars. Thank you for such a wonderful weekend.

Nice vacation cabin!
We had a great time with our family at your beautiful cabin. There was wonderful weather to do lots of outdoor activities! We also loved the soft white blankets that are in every room, the pool table, and the hot tub. We just had a few suggestions for the Rocky Hill Lodge: We would love to see a railing put up for front steps. In the bathrooms we think there should be a safety rail for people to get out of the showers. Last of all we would love to see curtains put over back sliding glass door. Thanks!!!

Rocky Hills Lodge
This house was amazing! After traveling 4 1/2 hours it was nice to settle in and relax! The hot tub, pool table, arcade machine and fire pit were nice additions too. The house came fully stocked with all the pots and pans, linens, etc. and even a washer and dryer! When traveling with 5 kids the less packing...the better. Everything exceeded our expectations, we would definitely stay there again.

The cabin one of of the best experiences I ever had, I would have to say the only down side was the internet sucked it wasn't even fast enough to play music, but I didn't go there to have internet it was just a perk. A weekend to remember
There was a hudge spider that crawled in but I captured it under a bowl and put it outside. Other than that, there were plenty of beds and and space to hangout and relax, we got to roast marshmallows and there was a canoe place ten minutes away. Rocky hill lodge will definitely be recommended

Amazingly Toddler Friendly
When looking for a place to stay in Hocking Hills that might be suited for 4 little ones under 4 we hit the nail on the head with Jason and Julie and Rocky Hill Lodge. The huge wrap-around deck was entirely enclosed except for the ground floor entrance into the front door. Our little ones had a super great time safely running around and playing there. The stairs inside are safely guarded with secure stair rails, and the steps themselves are not open as they are in some cabins. One note, however, is that they are not blocked off so if you must keep little ones from approaching them you might want to bring pressure type gates. Also we brought pack-n-plays for the two under two. The cabin is super clean and well cared for and stocked with plenty of dishes/pans/towels, etc. In addition to the deck, we thoroughly enjoyed the main floor common area and the outside firepit. We hit a HOME RUN by choosing Rocky Hill Lodge!

Perfect Cabin!
Rocky Hill is exactly as represented on the website. Very beautiful, spacious and clean. We spent a long week-end here, hiking during the day and filling the cabin with loads of laughter at night. It has all the amenities that were important to our group of 10 parents that needed a getaway: very large hot tub, beautiful pool table, fire pit with comfortable seating, high-end appliances and furniture, plenty of seating in the open floor plan and a quiet, tranquil setting. We even enjoyed some of the kid-friendly treasures (arcade game and board games). There were only a few things we wished were better, but doubt there's any flexibility to improve: the speed of the wifi was slow, the cellular signal was hard to maintain and the smell of the local water isn't very pleasant. Overall, we all agreed this is one of the best cabins we've ever stayed in and hope to visit it again next year. The owners are very nice and responsive. I can tell they take great pride in Rocky Hill, ensuring it's superior quality.

Plenty of Room!
We enjoyed the spacisousness of this cabin. We've rented other cabins in HH; however, this one has everything we need (and more!) The large outside deck adds to the spaciousness. Having the grill just outside the kitchen door makes it handy to use. Plenty of counter space to prep and cook for a large group. Comfortable beds, towels and linens are first rate. You don't need to bring a thing (except bath soap). Loading and unloading was a breeze because you pull right up to the front door (main level) and you don't have to carry food, etc. up flights of stairs to the kitchen. Outside fire pit is right out the lower level door and very nice and accomodates up to 10 people. Plenty of firewood is available as well. First rate property. Owners are great to work with!

Rocky Hill Lodge is beautiful, clean, and welcoming. The pictures and description on the website are completely accurate. Customer service was great and I received fast follow-ups to any questions I had prior to our stay. One of our favorite things was to get up early, make coffee, and sit on the deck to watch the sunrise. VERY relaxing. The property was extremely clean and everything worked as expected. My suggestion to future renters would be to bring fire starter logs for the firepit and the fireplace in the living room We will definitely visit again.

My family and I had a great time. Lodge was very clean when we arrived. The 8 person hot tub was definitely a plus. Having cut and dry fire wood was great but just a suggestion, it would have been nice to have dry kindling to help start the fire in the pit. But here was a safety concern. We had rain when we were their and noticed water dripping from a light fixture in the basement. Dont know if it was actually from the rain or an appliance or tub leaking. We did call the owner when we were there about it. They were also concerned and offered to send a plumber out but the water had stopped dripping after a while. But we would definitely stay there again.

Rocky Hill Lodge / An amazing place.
Our whole family loved our stay at Rocky Hill Lodge. The lodge is so big, clean, and comfortable, that all 14 of us had plenty of space and privacy. There were plenty of towels, blankets, pillows, etc. There was also a large parking area for our 5+ vehicles. We loved the secluded and beautiful property, and even saw a doe with two fawns next to the lodge one morning. Loved it!
