Our family really enjoyed the lodge and had plenty of room to enjoy all of the amenities.
We loved the indoor pool, hot tub, large dining room table, billiards, campfire area and plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. We had lots of room to play outdoor games and didn't even have to leave if we didn't want to! We would love to come back again with our large family!

Always clean, spacious, secluded, and relaxing!
Large layout and separate sleeping areas. Newly updated kitchen with 2 refrigerators was a huge blessing! This is the 4th year I've brought my youth group kids on a retreat, and it's always clean and meets all of our needs!! Although I'd love if the sliding door could get replaced someday! Our stay at the lodge was wonderful. The lodge was private and gave us everything we needed to relax and have a fun weekend. The lodge offered something to do for everyone in our group from young to old.

Perfect floor plan of rooms and activities for our family of 17 ( ages 6-80)
We loved the home, well equipped kitchen with 2 refrigerators, 2 stoves and 2 microwaves; comfortable beds, clean swimming pool and hot tub, situated in the heart of many hiking trails. Fantastic family lodge where everyone can sit at the table!
Lovely lodge in an amazing area, close to lots of fun outings. Mattresses are very comfortable. Pool and hot tub was needed after a long hike. The kitchen was stocked with more amenities than expected, and was so glad for the double ovens and the 4 grills. Will rent Southern Belle Lodge again. I have nothing bad to say about our stay at this Lodge.

Amazing gathering place with all the amenities, comfortable beds and a variety of activities.
Loved the long tables for eating , playing games and just talking with plenty of couches in the same room for everyone to spread out. Really enjoyed the beautiful update in the kitchen We really enjoy the back patio with fireplace. The yard is nice for kids to play. Also nice new carpet. Southern Belle Lodge was perfect for our family weekend for 18!
We liked that the house was more than large enough for all of us and all ages. The indoor pool was fun, especially when it rained one morning. We played cards, did puzzles, shared great meals and had a lovely time in a beautiful setting, in the Hocking Hills!

Pros - plenty of space for people to spread out, 2 ovens to accommodate for cooking with large groups, plenty of kitchen appliances and utensils (2 coffee pots, multiple crock pots), plenty of seating throughout, beds were comfortable with good mattresses, pool area was perfect to keep the kids entertained. This was a wonderful place for our large family to honor their parents 45th wedding anniversary.
Even though it was too wet and cold to do anything outside, the heated pool and hot tub kept the grandkids entertained and the parents relaxed. The stove not capable of getting grease hot which ruined our new years eve fish fry.
The large dining and living area off the kitchen and the outdoor fireplace. didn't like the no dryer or towel racks or hooks anywhere.

Cons - basement is poorly insulated and was so cold (thank goodness bedroom has a heater and a door), only 1 refrigerator. Cabin was surface clean, but could use a good deep cleaning.

Kitchen was fully stocked with anything you would need to prepare and cook for a large group and the setting was breathtaking! My family wants to make this every year!
