Cabin was perfect for two people. Table for two, hot tub for two, not to big, not to small. Air conditioner worked well, as did everything in the cabin. It is well taken care of. The woods outside were so quiet and peaceful. We had the pleasure of sitting on the deck, under the awning during a rain storm. TAKE ME BACK!!

Fun getaway in the woods
Our 4th time staying with them and each time a different cabin. Great weather and nice having a fire and looking at the stars. The staff is always friendly and welcoming and easy booking and checking out.

If it weren't for the pesky yellow jacket hornets on the rear deck, everything else was wonderful!!
Relaxing fires every evening, our own, clean grill which we used for every dinner, burgers, steaks, chicken, ribs and the Hot Tub!! Oh the dollar treasure hunt was cool and different too! We found 13 dollars during our stay and we added one of our own to the mix in a strategic location!!¿¿ Just get some Raid or Black Flag and spray the holes...

Peace and quiet!
We loved the quietness and secluded area. We had a wonderful time having bonfires and sitting outside on the back deck with the jacuzzi. Lots of amenities here. The cabin was beautiful, perfect for my wife and I, for our 11-year anniversary. I really did like that there was minimum internet service, got us off our phones. Let us enjoy each other....

The cottage had a very nice decor. It was nice size for 2 people and very clean and comfortable. I liked the privacy of the deck and the hot tub. If you want complete privacy with no access to tv other than movies provided, no internet then this is for you. Drive is very steep so I recommend a truck for access. Being away from the responsibilities of the day to day in a quiet, peaceful sweet little cabin. The indoor fireplace and the outdoor hot tub were wonderful to have to look forward to after a day of hiking or shopping. The best cabin we've rented in the 5 years we have been coming to the Hills!

Wonderful family trip!
My husband and I stayed with our eight-year-old son and everyone loved the Bear Hugs cabin. My parents stayed next door in Big Bear Retreat and my brother's family was in Cozy Cub. We loved that all three cabins were within walking distance of each other, allowing for lots of family time but also independence and our own spaces.

We decided next time to try somewhere else as $500 is a lot for lack of accommodations.
