Beautiful setting and super friendly owners!

Very nice lodging with everything provided

That the place was clean and that the owners are very nice and friendly.

Lodge was clean and well-stocked along with being nicely decorated. Enjoyed gathering and relaxing on the porches! The kids loved the pond and the paddle boats, and having all the games available at the lodge. We had a campfire both nights which was everyone's favorite activity! Cathy and Steve were awesome! Always available but never intrusive.

Our family especially liked the outdoors: fishing, volleyball, hiking, and lots of room to play baseball. The lodge is spacious and comfortable. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need for meals - lots of serving dishes and appliances. Thoughtful extras like pump soap, dish and laundry detergent, paper towels and trash bags, spices, plenty of towels, are all included.

Would suggest the paddle boats in the water and ready for use. Thanks.

The place was very well maintained and the owners were really nice. Directions for everything. Well stocked property. We will definitely stay again.

Lots of room for everyone to enjoy and have their own space , We would definitely come back .

The lodge is roomy with all the amenities! We also appreciate 3 main floor bedrooms with accessibility for members with ambulatory challenges.

Everything was clean and the house was very comfortable. Cathy was great to work with and accommodating to all of our needs. Will definitely stay again.

The 12 of us had a wonderful stay, with the exception of Ed's mattress, and we are looking forward to returning next Spring. The inside was spacious and we never felt crowded. The porch was wonderful and the pond was a nice quiet place for fishing, the grounds were beautifully maintained. The kitchen was well-stocked and if we needed anything, it was because someone forgot to bring it! Double oven and 2 refrigerators were a big plus! Night lights bed linens, towels, and Puffs Tissues!!

Very cozy and well furnished lodge! Great trails, fire pit and wrap-around porch to enjoy the outdoors. Owners live in a property nearby the lodge - very hospitable and welcoming!

It was great staying at a lodge large enough to comfortably accommodate my mother, my 3 brothers and most of our families (16 total). We liked that the kitchen was well equipped with plenty of dinnerware, cookware and utensils and that it was all in very good condition. The lodge was clean and well decorated (Christmas) and the owners could not have been more pleasant. This was our second visit to Mesa Vista Lodge and the owners continue to update and improve both the lodge and the grounds.

I and 19 of my closest friends spent several days at this lovely lodge. It is located in a secluded beautiful area with many hiking trails and other wonderful amenities. We had several great nights out under the stars enjoying a bonfire started for us by our great host. Had a beautiful family vacation at Steve and Cathy's lodge! Our family now numbers about 20, so it's hard to find a place to all be together with enough room to not all be together! We loved the wraparound porch, and all the neat spots for enjoying quiet morning coffee, as well as room for meeting in comfort and making connections all together. Steve and Cathy were right there to meet our every need, and we even had them over to eat dessert with us! Such a scenic spot to take our annual family

My girlfriends and I, all '74 graduates from St. Francis DeSales High School, have gathered together for long weekends at Mesa Vista Lodge on six occasions over the past eight years. All 17 of us LOVE this lodge as well as the owners Cathy & Steve. The have created a "home away from home" for all of their guests. This is a beautiful facility, very comfortable, a wonderful wrap around porch, perfect campfire set up, hot tub always clean, warm & in perfect order, kitchen stocked better than most

Mesa Vista Lodge was fantastic. They have obviously been renting for a long time, because lots of the little details were taken care of. Tissues in every room, plenty of towels for both the bathrooms and the hot tub, spices to cook with, extra fridge for drinks, etc. The space was very clean, beds comfortable, many of the extra bedrooms have additional sinks in them to brush teeth and wash your face. It is priced fairly, the property is amazing and the lodge is impressive as well. It is a great

Not only is this a great family place, but I also enjoy the lodge every year with a group of women from my high school days. The owners, Cathy and Steve, obviously care about their guests. We have fun sitting back, chatting & relaxing as well as playing lots of games outside from Corn Hole, to Kickball, to recreating old dance routines. LOVE. LOVE. LOVE.

We had every possible cooking utensil we could want and a grill that was very convenient to use. The appliances were great. We could not have asked for a nicer couple who looked after our every need. We were met at our arrival and everything we needed to know was explained. When we were short a few knives and forks, the owner gave us some of her own until she could replace what was missing. She even got a few groceries for us as she was going to the store for her own family. She and her husband were nothing but helpful and friendly. The area has a great number of activities available for everyone's needs. There was so much to do that we could not get to everything in the time that we were there. A great family vacation. I would certainly recommend this lodge and the area to anyone who wanted a fun time.

Steve and Cathy were right there to meet our every need, and we even had them over to eat dessert with us! Such a scenic spot to take our annual family pictures, too. Adults could go out to see the nearby sites whenever, but one of our grandchildren submitted the best review. When asked if she wanted to go see such and such, she replied she just wanted to stay here! We liked the stunning scenery in the state park, but it was good to always come "home" to this lovely place. Five stars for this one! Thanks! Roger

I am planning another corporate group outing soon in the Hocking Hills area as well as a family/friends weekend and hope to secure the dates at Mesa Vista."

HUMMINGBIRDS!!!!! This place is truly amazing. I was here for a long weekend with a bunch of friends and we could not have asked for a better place to stay. The lodge is incredible, scenery is awesome and the silence is perfect. grilling, fire pit, yard games, hot tub and the list goes on and on and on. just truly could not have asked for more. Walk through the trails when you get a chance, birds on birds on birds. The owners are possibly the nicest and most welcoming people you will ever meet in a private rental situation. The pictures do NOT do the place justice. Just go, stay, relax, you will not regret your choice.
