Quiet, great location and beautiful
A few things I think was strange. Absolutely no entertainment so plan accordingly. Bring games. no internet was great but plan accordingly-bring dvds or vhs tapes if you want to watch a movie. No hair dryer and we slept in basement bedroom because there was some sort of activity above either in ceiling or on roof I wouldn't been able to sleep....

Our stay was amazing! Except for the power going in and out and not having any phone service.

Quiet area but in the heart of the beautiful county. Ash Cave is close as well as others. Beautiful home and clean. Nice fire pit. We had such fun and will definitely be back

nice roomy place. amazing space for the cost. big hot tub, lots of outdoor decking, close to Ash Cave. Also fairly close to La Petit Chevalier winery, which was a nice diversion. We've stayed at other cabins and found A-Frame Cabin to be among the best for its location to trails, cabin size, yard size, parking, quiet. Its furnishings fit whether 2 or 6 people stay. For us, the loft steps served as space for storing and hanging items. We brought beach towels (a few towels provided), logs, lighter, lighter fluid for the firepit, lanterns, outdoor games, portable speakers and ice. Cabin has DirecTV but no Internet/wifi, so venture to state park lodge or Logan for service.

We loved how it is built into the small mountain and that the front yard contains a fire pit that is on the shore of a small creek. My son loved the bed in the loft at the top level of the cabin. The hot tub was great, but we wished there was a defined location to store the cover. There is a mustiness present in the lower level and we could not figure out the electric fireplace that could have taken off the chill.
