Grant's Escape was built in June, 2009. It is a Beautiful cabin, very secluded, on a scenic dead-end lane. 1½ miles from Old Man's Cave, in the Hocking Hills.

We loved Hocking Hills. The cabin was in a beautiful area and secluded. However, it needs a deep cleaning. The ceiling fans and walls were dusty. Very relaxed.
Cabin was clean and off the beaten path. Pretty quiet throughout our stay which we enjoyed! The only concern were the steps and the front porch as some of the boards were lose.

We arrived to an exceptionally clean cabin.
The amenities were pristine upon arrival. The hot tub and overall feel of the cabin was greater than we were expecting. Will definitely be staying again in the future.

This was our second stay at Grant's Escape. It's so relaxing - private, super clean, and beautiful setting. Close to everything including great hiking, food, and drink. It's the perfect getaway! The only area of improvement might be to add a few hooks in the bathroom for easier storage/drying of towels/swimsuits.

Location is close to area hiking trails. Cabin is insulated and has HVAC unit for four season use. Cabin was clean and with comfortable furnishings.

Cozy, secluded, hot tub for sore muscles ¿ everything we needed…. Well water was stinky though, we do have well water in northern Michigan but this was way worse,,, but it will not detour us from coming back ¿

The cabin was very private, had a hot tub, and was reasonably priced. Could use more amenities like coffee filters, working can opener, better lighting in the kitchen. Clean enough but not super clean.

A very Peaceful way to celebrate my birthday
There is just something so peaceful about sitting in a hot tub during the winter. My man friend took me to Grant's Escape to celebrate my 52 birthday and it was wonderful.. very clean and welcoming. My only complaint is that the bed mattress is in DIRE need of replacement..

Our stay was excellent, the cabin is very well done, quiet and remote.
First, the road in is very well lit. The pots and pans stocked in the kitchen are of a higher quality than you typically find in a kitchen at these type of places. Hot tub was great, the cabin is less than 5 minutes from old mans cave. The host communicates very quickly, whole thing was seamless.

This was our second weekend stay at a Woodland Ridge cabin and the experience was just as wonderful as the first. The accommodations and location are perfect for a getawy. Highly recommended! We will make this a standing tradition.

Will also note the sulphur smell in the water is pretty bad; this may not be fixable, though.
