Hocking Hills Coronavirus Update - What You Need To Know
Parks & Trails
The major hiking trails and parks remain closed. Park and trail closures include Ash Cave, Cantwell Cliffs, Cedar Falls, Conkle's Hollow, Hemlock Bridge and Whispering Cave, Old Man's Cave, and Rock House. Some parks and trails do remain open at this time. As of May 4th, 2020, privately owned cabins and overnight accomodations in Hocking Hills are open to groups of less than 10. For the safety of all guests, lodging owners are taking extra precautions per Hocking County Health Department and CDC guidelines. On May 14th, Lt. Governor Husted announced campgrounds may re-open May 21st. This does not mean all campgrounds will open on May 21st, but they are allowed to re-open starting on that date. You can find Hocking Hills campgrounds here: https://www.hockinghills.com/campgrounds.htmlFood and Drink

- 1. Grocery shop before you get to The Hocking Hills region. This will help ensure our local retailers are able to keep up with their supply.
- 2. If you do need to go into any local businesses, including the grocery store, we ask that you are mindful of the current CDC guidelines and Governor DeWine's recommendations in regards to face coverings, social distancing, and hand washing.
- 3. If you or someone in your group is feeling ill or under the weather we would ask you to please adhere to the governor’s request and stay home & isolate. The Hocking Hills will be here for your adventures when you are feeling better!
While The Hocking Hills is a tourism destination we all love, it is also a very small community of wonderful local residents.
