KAYAK, HIKE & BIKE ADVENTURE WOMENS WEEKEND
I treasure these forested foothills of the Appalachian
Mountains and the valleys and rivers that run through
them, and invite you to come share them for a three-day
adventure: biking on the 17-mile Hock-Hocking Adena
Bikepath, kayaking the meandering Hocking River and
hiking trails to touch the earth. In the evenings,
retreat to the peace of Touch the Earth Adventures’
secluded shelter house or sleep in a
Native-American-style tipi. Lodging and meals included.
Bring
your own bike. Bike rentals available for an extra cost.
CHARLESTON KAYAKING GETAWAY
Explore the diverse waterways and soak up the local
culture of the Charleston area with this incredible Low
Country retreat. Spend three days kayaking along sandy
bays, winding rivers and the Intracoastal Waterway. In
your down time, explore Charleston’s historic downtown
and world-class dining scene. We’ll wind up the week
with a private boat trip and beach walk on Bull Island
(part of the Cape Romain National Wildlife Refuge).
Price includes six nights of lodging and delicious meals
(six breakfasts, five lunches and five dinners) prepared
by a professional chef.
FAREWELL TO FALL HIKING & KAYAKING ADVENTURE
As the last of the leaves float gently to the ground,
don’t miss this opportunity to get outside, breathe the
crisp fall air and surround yourself with the
magnificence of nature. We’ll spend Saturday hiking the
hills of Burr Oak State Park, then end the day with a
magnificent full moon paddle on the gentle waters of
Burr Oak Lake. Sunday brings more kayaking and outdoor
adventure. Six meals beginning with dinner on Friday and
lodging in a shared cabin are included. No experience
required and kayaks provided. Meet at Burr Oak cabins
anytime after 5 p.m. on Friday.
