Get ready for an escape to Hocking Hills! You're always welcome at Carefree Cabins! Brand new in 2017, offering cozy, relaxing, and secluded log cabins with and all the comforts of home and fully appointed with amenities guaranteed to delight you.

Three of our cabins feature a private bedroom and open loft to comfortably accommodate up to 4 adults. Our two newest cabins built in 2018 are couples-only cabins sleeping just two for a cozy, relaxing, and intimate vacation. We are just minutes from the Hocking Hills State Parks and all local attractions.

When you return from your daily activities, enjoy a long relaxing soak in the outdoor hot tub featured at all of our cabins! If youre staying at our Creekside Serenity or Sandstone Oasis cabins, you can also sink into the exclusive massage chair in the all-season room. Or, at Hidden Gem Retreat cabin, relax in the warmth of the indoor infrared sauna. At Lovebirds Landing and Snuggle Bear Bungalow, youll enjoy the warm glow of the outdoor fireplace on the patio while taking in all the wonderful sights and sounds of nature. Whichever cabin you choose, we bet you'll want to stay forever!

Featuring paved asphalt driveways at our Hidden Gem Retreat, Creekside Serenity, and Sandstone Oasis Cabins. The two newest cabins, Lovebirds Landing and Snuggle Bear Bungalow will also be paved soon.

IMPORTANT FYI - Our Lovebirds Landing cabin has a stone/gravel driveway that is quite steep and has presented a challenge for guests with small cars and/or front-wheel drive vehicles. An AWD or 4-wheel drive vehicle is definitely recommended.

My husband and I spent our first anniversary at Lovebirds Landing last weekend it was perfect and so much more than we expected. Even the smallest details were covered by the owners, from the plates and silverware to tide pods to do you laundry- they have thought of everything and genuinely want you to be carefree while you are there. The cabin was quiet, perfect for stargazing and birdwatching, a genuine retreat. I cannot recommend this cabin enough and I look forward to staying with Carefree Cabins again.

Perfect! Beautiful cabin that appears brand spankin new! We got married at Old Mans Cave, then had a small get together at the cabin. This was coordinated with Michele a couple weeks prior and she was very accommodating. Cell range and wifi is pretty much horrible for most of Hocking Hills. BUT we knew that going in. And it's kind of nice to put the phone down for a couple days anyways. No complaints, highly recommended, we will be back Thank you! Tip - Print out the directions and a map the old fashion way, lol

Hidden Gem Retreat is the best cabin I have stayed at in the numerous times I have visited Hocking Hills. The cabin is excellently stocked and very clean. The sauna and hot tub were in excellent condition. The location is close to several trails and the local Wal-Mart. We loved relaxing and grilling on the front porch. I will definitely recommend this location to my friends and family.

A Little Gem

This is a cute little place that was everything we needed to have a very enjoyable time in Hocking Hills. We found it to be exactly as described on the website. Booking online was a breeze, and email confirmation was prompt and detailed. Everything was spotless, and almost brand new. We didnt need to bring much except our food, because the owners have provided almost anything you can imagine needing. During our stay we did have one question about the operation of the hot tub jets, but one phone call to the owners quickly gave us the info we needed. This cabin was built with a lot of forethought and planning, because they squeezed so much into a pretty small place. It was small enough that we didnt want to clutter up the space with our suitcase, so we were able to unpack our clothes into the drawers underneath the bed and put the suitcase back in the car. The one space that might be too small for some travelers is the bathroom. It has a stand-up shower stall which is small enough to make bending over fairly difficult, and using it would really be challenging for anyone much wider than me I am 510/170. The cabin is just off the road, but the only sounds we could hear were from the few vehicles that went by on the gravel road, and from the insects and birds. It is only ten minutes from Logan, but has a very secluded feel and is surrounded by trees. One plus for us is that a couple of times from our porch we were able to see deer just up past the driveway. Even with the small shower we would highly recommend this cabin especially for couples wanting some quality alone time, and we plan on returning!
