God bless all who enter here...

Wind your way through the quiet pasture and up the hill to a peaceful bit of country. The first thing you will notice is the panoramic view, the rolling Hocking Hills stretching out before you, beckoning you to explore all they have to offer. Your host, John and Nina Weaver will welcome you with smiles and a Christian hello.

You will immediately feel at home in this pine log cabin, built by John himself from logs he cut on an antique sawmill. Nestled in the woods, this two-story loft-style log cabin is the perfect place to "get away from it all". It looks like a little doll house, decorated with country charm, from the baskets in the kitchen to the deer antler bathrobe hooks. In the great room is a stone fireplace, built with hand-picked stones from the farm and a mantle John cut himself.
The kitchen includes everything you will need - a microwave, full set of dishes and pots and pans, a toaster, a small refrigerator, and a stove. Off the kitchen is a queen-sized bed.
Up the steep ladder/staircase are two open loft-style bedrooms with Three Oaks Cabinlog-beamed ceilings. In this cozy atmosphere, you get the feeling Laura and Mary could have slept here. One bedroom has two double beds and the other bedroom has two single beds.
The hosts are sure you will enjoy your stay at their farm, a smoke and alcohol-free environment. The view from the cabin is tranquility at its' best. The back porch looks onto a wooded rocky area which Nina describes as her favorite place on the farm. Watch for nature's occasional treat of squirrels, deer, wild turkeys, hummingbirds, geese, and wild rabbits.
Bit of Country also offers a bed and breakfast in the main house, with an inclusive bath and large country breakfast.
Bit of Country Three Oaks Cabin is just minutes from Hocking Hills State Parks, Lake Hope, Hocking College and Ohio University.
A hiker's paradise, this is truly "God's country."
