Up-Cycled Bags with Meta Van Nostran

10:30-2pm. We will make a usable shopping tote from recycled feed bags. These trendy bags are a great project for sewing beginners and participants will learn the basics while they create. Meta will also give a brief history of feed bags and how they have been made into many useful items over the years. This workshop will show us how to carry on that tradition. There will be a break for lunch so make sure to bring yours. Also, participants will receive free admission into the gallery to view Quilt Revolution, so feel welcome to check it out during the break or after the workshop. There is also a scheduled gallery walk at 10am that day so feel free to come a little early. Where: In the AEP wing of the Dairy Barn. This workshop will use sewing machines and can have either one grownup or a grownup and child age 8 or older to a workstation. Bring a bagged lunch and ideas.
