8pm. Stuart's welcomes Canadian songwriter Catherine MacLellan for a special backstage show. Catherine performed a few great sets at the 2013 Nelsonville Music Festival, and now she will play an intimate show at Stuart's Opera House. Voted Critics Favorite New Discovery by Penguin Eggs Magazine in 2008, her last record Water In The Ground reached out to expand her already loyal fan base as she toured in support of legendary artists including Bruce Cockburn in the United States and Steve Forbert in the UK. Her newest album, 2011's Silhouette captures her best qualities effortlesslystitching together elegantly woven songs with her memorable blend of heartfelt and powerfully introspective lyrics and catchy melodies. On sale to the public on Friday, August 8th at Noon.
