Doors open at 600 pm show starts at 700 pm. Show is held in the air-conditioned auditorium of the Newton Twp. Fire Dept. 5490 Maysville Pike State Route 22, approximately 2 miles outside of South Zanesville. The Muskingum Valley Jubilee country music show hosts its annualHalloween Spooktakular. The MVJ band and regulars re-enact the Grand Old Opry by dressing in costume to perform the music and songs of many of the Opry greats, both living and deceased. Guests are invited to dress in their Halloween best. In its 7th year of providing quality, family-friendly entertainment, The MVJ performs classic/new country, gospel and seasonal music on the 2nd Saturday of each month. Free on-site parking with handicapped parking at the lower level. Door prizes, raffles and 50-50 are provided. Newton Twp. Fire Dept. sells hot and cold foods and beverages.
