Stuarts hosts a special backstage show with a double bill featuring two fantastic musicians. Canadian songwriter Doug Paisley and Kentucky songwriter Joan Shelley. Toronto musician Doug Paisley has a new album (Strong Feelings) out and his previous effort, 2010s Constant Companion was hailed by Rolling Stone as a -nearly perfect singer-songwriter record-. Joan Shelley has followed up her acclaimed 2014 album Electric Ursa with Over and Even, a quieter, more contemplative set recorded in her home state of Kentucky and has received praise from music heavyweights like Rolling Stone, NPR, and Pitchfork. Do not miss this chance to see two great songwriters in the intimate and unique setting of a backstage show, where the audience sits on the Stuarts stage with the performers.
