November 7-9, Queen Victoria Weekend. You MUST plan your visit to explore the Dickens Victorian Village display during -Queen Victoria Weekend-. Meet the Queen at various events during this celebration. Watch the Queens Parade, explore the old fashioned -Street Fair- and Mingle with the Monarch at the Queen's Tea. Learn about Victorian Funeral customs at the Gone But Not Forgotten: Victorian Funeral and Mourning Program. New in 2014, Gerald Dickens, great, great grandson of Charles Dickens performs on Saturday evening after sharing a carriage ride in the Queen's Parade with her Majesty. Start your visit at the Dickens Welcome Center where you can pick up your official Visitors Guide with detailed map of Historic Downtown Cambridge. Explore the Imagination Station's costumes and props to dress the part as you try your hand at becoming a true Victorian Lady or Lad and here are more things to do while there - View Displays of 90 Dickens scenes, Enjoy a Victorian Full Tea, Watch the Guernsey County Courthouse Holiday Music and Light Show, Treat yourself to a Horse-Drawn Carriage Ride, and visit the National Museum of Cambridge Glass.
