10 am - 4 pm. The Outlander is a romantic time-travel novel based in Scotland in the mid seventeen hundreds. In conversations with guests at Glenlaurel, Michael, the Original Laird o' Glenlaurel, often recommends that they read The Outlander by Diana Gabaldon. Many guests respond by saying that they have already read the seven book series and anxiously await the eighth. So we have scheduled a discussion group, an all day structured event. The registration fee includes a brown bag lunch. Registrants will be asked to nominate their favorite passages for reading and discussion. If this weekend is successful, Dragonfly in Amber will be scheduled for November, 2010. Registration is limited to 25.
