Woodcock Watch
Mar 19, 2010 730 - 9 pm. Is this just another snipe hunt No. What is an American Woodcock and why would I want to watch Well, . . . this bird has one of the most elaborate courtship rituals of many of Ohio's avian friends and one of the most intriguing to observe. Bring along a pair of binoculars and meet the naturalist on the Expedition Trail located behind the naturalist office to find out. Unfortunately, this bird is weather-dependent so keep your fingers crossed for clear skies.
