The Ohio University Wind Ensemble presents the concert Points of Departure/Point of Return featuring Larry Zalkind, acting associate principal trombonist of the Los Angeles Philharmonic and Christopher Hayes, associate professor of trombone at Ohio University. The performance will be held at Templeton-Blackburn Alumni Memorial Auditorium on the college Green of Ohio University. This concert is presented free through the generous support of Arts for Ohio. Zalkind will present the Ohio premiere of Streets of Paris by composer Bill Reichenbach, jointly commissioned by the Ohio University Bands Commissioning Project.
