US Navy Zeppelin Shenandoah at Historical Society
Aug 28, 2014 7pm. Barry Harle will be the next guest speaker at the Hocking County Historical Society. Mr. Harle will be presenting the history of the US Zeppelin Shenandoah. The US Zeppelin Shenandoah was the first of four United States Navy airships. On September 3, 1925, The US Shenandoah crashed in Noble County near Ava, Ohio. 14 men lost their lives in this tragic accident.
