Welcome to BARRINGER RIDGE COTTAGES in the beautiful Hocking Hills.

Barringer Ridge Cottages are located in the heart of the Hocking Hills State Forest. The cottages adjoin over two-hundred acres of beautiful state forests to hike and explore. Take a walk into the past and see deep gorges, breathtaking waterfalls, and prehistoric rock formations. View the giant hemlocks among hundreds of beautiful wildflowers. Hunt the famous morel mushrooms or try your luck seeking out the rare ginseng plant.

The area is abundant with wildlife. There are numerous white tail deer, flocks of wild turkey, grouse, raccoons, and foxes, just to name a few. Barringer Ridge Cottages are just minutes away from Old Man's Cave, Ash Cave, Cedar Falls, Cantwell Cliffs, Rock House and Conkle's Hollow State Parks. And if this is not enough, you can canoe down the Hocking River or take a ride on the Old Hocking Valley Scenic Railway.

If shopping is your thing, the area has it's share of world-renowned artisans and many unique craft shops. All tuckered out? Then come back to your secluded cottage and relax. You won't want to miss the blazing sunsets off your very own deck. Each cottage is tastefully decorated to make you feel at home. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is plenty of hot water for a nice, relaxing shower. Everything is provided. You need only bring food and toiletries.

Barringer Ridge Cottages is a wonderful place to relax in air-conditioned comfort in the summer, or cuddle up in front of a warm fire and sip cocoa that you have made in your fully equipped kitchen in the chilly autumn and winter months. Year ‘round you can step out onto your own deck that features lawn chairs and prepare a meal on your charcoal grill. All of the cottages are tastefully decorated in a country décor that will make you feel right at home.

Each cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, which includes pots, pans, cutlery, dishes, cups, paper towels, dish soap, a coffee maker, a toaster and a microwave. There is a color TV and a VCR/Stereo in the living area, and the bathroom has fluffy towels, a fresh bar of soap and ample hot water for a refreshing shower. You will sleep soundly on your pillow top mattress and there is an AM/FM clock radio should you desire a wake-up call. Many of our return guests have a favorite cottage that feels like a second home; others choose to explore a new cottage with each visit confident of the consistent quality and comfort that they expect and deserve from Barringer Ridge Cottages.

Country Suite	1 - 2 persons			The Country Suite is an efficiency unit located within our office building that mirrors the quality and comfort of a fine hotel. This unit is comprised of a large combination bedroom/sitting room with a queen sized bed, a stereo with cassette deck and a beautifully tiled kitchen and bath. A private patio is home to a 7 x 7 foot hot tub.

Anniversary Cottage I	1 - 2 persons	3 - 4 persons		The Anniversary Cottage I, our most private unit, offers a tiled kitchen, a full bath & a living/dining room with cathedral ceiling, a sleeper sofa, a stereo with cassette deck & an impressive wood burning fireplace (we supply the logs) all on the 1st floor. The 2nd floor is a large bedroom with a queen bed & a half bath. This has an 8 x 8 foot hot tub on a large deck & its own private driveway.

The bedroom has a queen bed and the bathroom has a double shower. The kitchen overlooks the deck which is home to an 8 x 8 foot hot tub.

Barringer Lodge	1 - 4 persons	5 - 6 persons	7 - 8 persons	The Barringer Lodge is separate from all of our other units, has a living, formal dining room with high ceilings, a family room with a gas log fireplace, a stereo with CD and a sleeper sofa. The master bedroom has a king bed, and there are three additional private bedrooms, two with queen beds and the other with a full size. There are three full bathrooms. Outside there is a Hot Tub, charcoal grill, fire ring, picnic tables, chairs, scenic view all totally secluded.
